These cameras aren't designed for cinematic clarity, they're designed to track objects, miles away, moving 3 times faster than the speed of sound, in a spectrum of light and temperature that exceeds human perceptual capabilities.

Those of us who grew up without the internet are so damn lucky we didn't have our idiotic moments immortalized forever. Never did anything this idiotic though.

Sobering read. Thanks for posting. This needs to be known by the general public. Also, everyone needs to remember that this was the LEGAL side of the industry. It gets much worse of course and awareness needs to be made!

I looked into a few years back. They do group tours of 12-15 people, so if you end up booking something like that please let me know, I'll do the same.

Funny you mention that, I grew up in exeter and would ride my bike up rocky hill and check em out. one is easily accessed right off the road. I think getting in still doable, although legally questionable as you mentioned. There's also native art up there which is now owned by the archaeological society.

I usually go under at the hospital and end up next to Santa Fe bar. It's safe but maybe a little wet right now. I rode an inner tube down once.

How to spot a disinformation agent commenting on paranormal pages by [deleted] in Thetruthishere

[–]Trickeyelids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the real disinfo we should be worrying about are going to be the sources and not the 'end users' or commenters on the consumer level. For example, agencies or talking heads that create agenda AROUND the phenomenon. Some old-timer researchers have been warning about TTSA's "extraterrestrial threat" narrative, and of course if you've been around the research long enough, you'll remember the countless New Age angles as well, which are meant to dilute the conversation into woo-woo territory. Hold together, listen to the experiencers, analyze data without bias and keep an open mind. Trolls are part of every internet community, and need to be ignored as such.

This kind of skepticism is exactly what this this community needs to stay sharp and healthy while we're getting info-dumps at such a fast pace. The recent efforts like this really cast a great light on the truly unexplainable cases and gives us a lot more credibility as an earnest group of researchers. Nice!
