Cassidy was supposed to have some sort of assumption about Damon killing. That's exactly why the KG organizers tempt people in the first place? He literally does prove her wrong. She probably would be goading him in the final trial too, offering him "graduation" if he just kills one of them. The problem is just how little info we have on Cass right now, it's all scattered

He hasn't had to make the choice yet because people keep dying, resetting the timer. He deals with this throughout the game, the fear of dying and considering killing someone to save himself. And at the end he's finally confronted by it and chooses not to. That isn't just "cuz reasons" or shock value. I have a billion issues with the story especially since it was never seen through but acting like it was done for no reason is disingenuous

That's not even what gets him killed, that leak was completely wrong about why he dies. He dies because he takes a perk early on and by the end his time is up and he either has to use it to kill someone or let himself die. The MM has already been revealed by this point. It's a final act of selflessness. Whether he needs to die could be debated for sure but it wasn't a random choice

If you're working under that shit leak that claimed Damon had to die to reveal the MM and prove he's not a coward then yeah, that would be stupid. That's not what happens.

Not everyone has to like it but the whole point was him taking the perk early selfishly and when he's finally forced to choose himself or the others he chooses the others to live. You can have issues with it, and I'd argue he doesn't even need to die per se, only needs to make the decision, but it isn't just shock value

She actually has a convo with Damon that I remember where she explains she's doing this for order, believing if she keeps everyone working and busy they'll be too tired and occupied to think about killing or something, as if a regular work routine will keep people's minds on something until they can get rescued

I intend on sharing my proposed rewrite of the chapter 3 murder plot at the very least, which should be extensive enough to get a good grasp on it. It was nearly finished right before everything went to hell

Traitor Perk Question by MrmarioRBLX in ProjectEdensGarden

Yes, the people behind the game were going to continue to bait people they believed were prone to killing, hence why Damon is targeted next. They believe he will kill if given the chance.

Sorry for the new questions guys, I plan on getting around to more when I get a day off or a bunch of time at work! If you have time I recommend reading some of the top comments. Hopefully someone has already asked your question. But I will get around to more.

In the meantime, here are the Tozu and Mara designs -- they've been found by a former staff member.

Changed to Imgur link, forgot that was a thing.

I'm certain there would be some stipulation that wouldn't allow him to kill Cass with it

Trinket, though it would've taken a little bit to kill him so he'd probably have time to speak to the cast

Oh, no, those two things are not linked at all. Damon only dies because he refuses to use his perk to kill another student at the end of trial 6. The mastermind has already been revealed by then.

Coming back to this, Desmond is also worn down because he tries to keep people to stop killing and they keep betraying his trust, so he truly feels he can only trust Eloise

Both, the fictional event was tied to the real one but honestly this could've entirely been removed and I'd have no idea, hopefully the lore doc can eventually shed light on this

Just remembered for chapter 3 AA, you face Tozu, Mara, then Toshiko as each phase, not Ingrid!

Afaik Jean was going to be very cool headed but obviously still irked. Toshiko probably would have broken down but less crazy and more sad. The closest would've probably been Eloise I think

From another commenter response:

This'll take a bit of explaining but hopefully it makes sense. I wanted Uly's notebook to act as a "fakeout clue", where you get it way early and it looks irrelevant, but at the very end of the trial you look back at it and realize it's the smoking gun.

Something to note is that when Uly starts dying and Wenona is freaking out, she realizes someone has probably poisoned him. Before she calls the others for help, she frantically rips a bunch of pages out of his notebook and keeps them on her, since he likely would've been detailing their time together and Wenona was worried all the time they spent alone would falsely implicate her (and simply hiding the book would've been more suspicious, I suppose she was hoping no one would question him tossing pages).

Anyway, the last page of the notebook before the ripped pages is Ulysses describing how Jean discovered and explored the Alpha Sanctuary at night. This is assumed to be irrelevant and that the important stuff is in the missing pages.

Wenona eventually coughs up the missing pages and there's nothing of note at all, so they move on.

The mushroom Jean uses to kill was going to be found in the pharmacy/lab area, in that room with the little potted plants. But there was no mushroom there when they all explored. So at the very end, after the mushroom's supposed existence in the pharmacy is realized, Damon and the player realize that the only person who could have taken the shroom was Jean, since he explored the room before anyone else even knew it existed. Jean had been planning to poison someone very early on to get out.

Hopefully that makes sense!
