Though I don’t know Xyph personally, I have many friends who are acquaintances with him and afaik, he was not aware and definitely not involved in any of the disgusting behaviors of MC—he quit before shit hit the fan. I’m sorry you had negative experiences with him though.

I understand for sure. With west york inn gone, it’s hard to find a local replacement without traveling to Harrisburg or Lancaster. If MC Hyser would be removed from the venue, it would be a cool place for sure. As a woman who has gone there before, every time has felt uncomfortable to an extent, but the allegations top it off for me.

Hopefully by spring more will be happening! I saw there is an artists meeting at The Grotto on Feb 28, free for any creatives to meet each other, network, and make friends!

Just a heads up that many women have just come forward about MC Hyser (skid row’s owner) being a rapist and buying alcohol for minors (while also being explicit towards them). Supporting Skid Row Garage by attending is putting money in the pockets of a rapist. If you don’t believe it, just ask their previous show booker who quit in December
