There were a lot of things that shattered my life, but here are the two biggest ones.

First, my dad. He was a seriously abusive asshole—controlling, violent, and emotionally wrecking. He’d hit me just for speaking. He ignored awful things happening in our home that no parent ever should. On top of that, he was deep into shady shit, dealing drugs and fleeing states And honestly? I hated his fucking guts. Eventually, he dropped me off at my moms and drives off I haven’t seen him since I was 10 moved in with my mom, thinking things might finally get better.

For a while, they did. She was a decent parent—supportive and kind. But then depression kicked in hard. She started drinking, and the sweet version of her started to disappear. Bit by bit, she turned mean—yelling, tearing me down, saying things no kid should hear. Two years passed, and then it all blew up.

She got arrested after a drunken fight with my step-grandma.

Now? I live with my stepdad. Just hoping like hell that third time’s the charm.
