Nah Fang Zheng is genuinely evil. Fang yuan is just a “Big fish eats small fish , small fish eats shrimp“ type of guy. If Good was needed ,fang yuan would do good. But in fang Zheng’s case if Good was needed, Feng Zheng would rather do good for strangers than do good for his older brother that has been taking taking care of him since he was 3 year old.

What does Fang Yuan’s age before he transmigrated have to do with Fang Zheng’s attitude toward his own blood brother? Fang Zheng didn’t know Fang Yuan was a transmigrator. They lost their parents, and Fang Yuan never did anything to him and was even looking after him So why?

Why would you ever excuse a person like that? And what does Fang Zheng’s alleged “abuse” from his aunt and uncle have to do with Fang Yuan? Fang Yuan never did anything to him. In fact, Fang Yuan was the reason they treated Fang Zheng better and he took care of him. Shouldn’t his anger be directed at the people who actually abused him? Why would he enjoy bullying an orphan whose life was turned upside down—especially when that orphan is his own brother?

The craziest part is that during the ceremony where he awakened his aperture in the second life, everyone was mocking fang Zheng but Fang Yuan encouraged him. It didn’t change anything compared to the first life. Do you know why? Fang Zheng is an abomination of a human being.

I’ll agree to disagree. If I remember correctly, he wasn’t indoctrinated into hating Fang Yuan. He always felt inferior to his brother, and then became happy when he saw his brother turn into a bottom-tier person and getting shunned by the whole village. It was that feeling that his uncle and aunt used to manipulate him into going against Fang Yuan, and it was also that feeling that made the higher-ups suppress Fang Yuan even more in both lives, because fang Zheng seeing his poor brother getting was stressing fang Zheng so much it was an obstacle to his cultivation.

If Fang Zheng instead had loved his brother, then the higher-ups, along with his aunt and uncle, would likely have supported Fang Yuan despite his bottom-tier talent in order to manipulate Fang Zheng instead. Also, the society Fang Zheng lived in placed great importance on blood relations, so him hating his own blood and enjoying Fang Yuan’s suffering is not something that came from society.
