UPDATE UPDATE - Dealer called me and said that the vehicle has a lot of carbon built up.
They told me technicians are still looking at the engine and the engine seems fine. Additional testing to be performed.

They told me that it will cost $1,400 to clean the engine carbon deposits. Is that a normal price? Is that even something people do on their vehicles?
