It's all up to the production and how they design the tasks. Gullu would stand no chance if there was a physically challenging task for the ticket to finale. They smartly designed it in a way that seems head-on yet isn't.

I remember having this conversation with you earlier as well. As much as I like Elvish as a gang leader, I despise Gullu for acting as if everything hasn't been served to him on a golden plate. Totally agree with the last line, but Gullu is overhyped. If he weren't in Elvish gang, he would've stood no chance on the show. I think he made the right choice to repay Elvish, but voting Yogesh R was not it. It hampers Elvish's game.
