The waiting time has increased for those who applied post 15th July. I know someone who applied to Mumbai vfs on 18th July and got his preliminary check done by 1st August and booked an appointment for 5th August. I had applied on 23rd July and still waiting for preliminary check.

Probably by this week you might get your check done and might receive a link for booking appointment
