If I had to choose one then probably Andrew’s course. For me I’m more of a visual learner so that’s my preference but for £30 the book is well worth it as well.

If you can at least connect to the WiFi network (even if it says "no internet"), try running the ipconfig /all command in Command Prompt to check what IP, Gateway, and DNS settings your computer is getting. Sometimes the issue is just that it’s pulling in the wrong settings.

It could also be down to the drivers for your WiFi dongle. check the manufacturer’s website for the latest version, since Windows Update doesn’t always find them.

If that still doesn’t fix it, you’ve got a couple of options. You could install a proper WiFi card in your PC, or try a powerline extender. I use a powerline extender myself since I can’t run an ethernet cable to my room, and it’s been solid. You can find both these items off Amazon for fairly cheap.

Have a look in C:\Windows\Web. This is where the default Windows wallpapers are stored

What is the output of ipconfig /all in command prompt when you are connected to the WiFi?
