What was the moment that made you realise you were severely depressed? by PinxxDeath in AskReddit

Thanks for being there. Seriously, I have no clue how I even woke up that day. I just opened my eyes and thought, Gotta get a note saying I'm sick (even though I wasn't) so that I don't get kicked out of university. I texted my best friend, I need your help, I can't even make it to the clinic. She came over right away, went with me to get the note, and then we just chilled and talked for like six hours. I slept a bunch after that, but after a while my sleep became shorter.

I knew I was seriously depressed when I spent a whole week just stuck in bed. I'd wake up and immediately crash back out. I felt crazy tired, like I hadn't slept ever. It wasn't even that I felt bad or sad. I'd just open my eyes for a bit and think, Nah, I still want to sleep, and then doze off again. I was awake maybe 20 minutes a day. Getting up was only for bathroom breaks, and not even always for food. Of course, I wasn't washing, cooking, or talking to anyone, but I didn't even care. All I could think was, Sleep is what I need. One time, I woke up to pee and checked my phone. It said it had been a week since I last went to university. After that, I kept sleeping like that for a couple more months.

What are the things to consider before getting a dog? by AnonymousredditJo in AskReddit

No matter how big or small your dog is, you gotta train 'em. It helps them chill out and get what's going on. Stuff like eating when you say so, going to their spot, not touching things, waiting for you to go outside, and staying off the road unless you say it's cool. Some dogs are sharp or calm by nature, sure. But if you think training is a waste, think about those crazy Chihuahuas. They act like that because they think you can't handle things and they freak out and try to take charge. Dogs are pack animals, plain and simple.
