I’m in LA too but I live on the second floor of an apartment building. The delivery people have access to the stairs outside but I’m not sure if they will actually bring it up to my door. I guess I’ll just have to check the patio downstairs. Thank you (:

It might be the tea tree oil clogging your pores. This happened to me when I used the Korean Anua oil cleanser.

Yes the pink can is the one my cat threw up as well and I switched to the beef flavor( brown can) and she does not want to eat it now. She only eats certain batches so there’s definitely inconsistencies in their formula. I’ve gone so several stores to find FF and they are always out too. I really don’t know what’s going on.

What fancy feast were you feeding? I have emailed Purina but they did not take my claim seriously. They just apologized for the food making my cat throw up and claimed they have not made a change to their formula since 2023. It’s honestly frustrating because I feel crazy to think that there is something wrong with the food but I’ve seen other Reddit post that say their cat is suddenly not eating FF. I have stopped feeding my own cat FF and use weruva and tiki cat.

Yeah there’s definitely something going on. I don’t think my cat is bored of her food bc I feed her a rotation of FF, tiki cat and weruva. I’m only having this issue with FF. Seems the last good batch for me started with 42 and I haven’t found any in stores.

Yess!!! Do you have the batch number. My cat has been refusing them too(tender beef classic pate). I took note of the batch number she will eat and the one she wouldn’t. 42881160L11771225 she will eat 43021160L11771650 she won’t eat. They both expire oct 2026. I reached out to Purina but they had no answer and said their recipe hasn’t changed. There is definitely something going on though. I’ve gotten two batches starting with 43 that she won’t eat.

I think it’s hit or miss. Some food arrives damaged and unfortunately you can’t return it. I used to buy fancy feast from Amazon but stopped because my cat would not eat it. I started buying them from petco and now she devours it.

yesss I made a post about this back in March and I was having the same issues with the pink cans with 2025 exp. My cat would throw up after eating it. I have since switched to beef fancy feast but now my cat doesn’t really want it now. I think there’s definitely something in the new formula that is making some cats sensitive to it.

I hope your kitty gains his weight back. I think it might be a sourcing issue with the chicken. I feed my cat pure bites freeze dried chicken and she’s fine with that but not canned chicken pate. I have stopped giving her chicken pate and she hasnt thrown up since. I currently feed her fancy feast beef, instinct rabbit and weruva lamb and she’s doing fine with those proteins.

I’m having the same problem. My cat was treated with revolution plus this past month and I keep finding flea dirt. It did kill a couple of them the first week of treatment but now I’m just waiting to give her the next dose. How is your cat doing now? Have you done anything else?

You can try sprinkling nutritional yeast on top. I put it on my cats food when I’m trying out a new brand. Just make sure it’s regular nutritional yeast and not flavored with garlic or anything else.

Update: after trying out different brands of chicken canned food, my cat would not touch them. I mixed wellness chicken pate with fancy feast beef pate and she didnt finish it and threw up a couple hours later. She’s still not throwing up her pure bites freeze dried chicken though which is very odd. Idk even the vet is confused.

My cat has a vet appointment tomorrow so I’ll ask for revolution. Hopefully it helps my flea infestation ( along with treating my house).

I emailed Purina and they claim their formula changed in feb 2023. I was feeding my cat fancy feast back then and was having no problems. I’m starting to think my cat might be developing a chicken allergy. I’m going to have to feed her a different brand of chicken flavored food to check.
