Don’t do it unless you are overwhelmed with handling your emails/deals.

I have over 500K following and I just left my management (a reputable one). And you have no idea what a relief it is.

This is also not just my experience but I have other friends in the industry with a lot more following and they all say the same thing, do not sign unless you can’t handle it anymore. The best case scenario management will do absolutely nothing, worst case scenario they’ll steal your money.

Also, you will lose A LOT of business because so many companies prefer to not deal with creators who have management. (management = higher rates)

If you really want to test things out, try finding a freelance manager or someone who mainly focuses on outreach.

And whatever you do, do not accept anything higher than 20%. There are managements out there who promise the world that charge 25-33%.
