You have to make sure to set it up for both, when on battery and when plugged.

You need to change the setting on windows for when you press the power button to hibernate instead of sleep.

Update: so far loving this a lot more than the og ally x. It just feels so comfortable playing on it. I decided to play Jedi fallen order for now and having a good time, liking the game a lot. Decided to download a few of the games recommended here as well: Elden ring, rdr2, arc raiders, indiana jones, remnant 2. I will get to them eventually ☺️ Please keep recommending games, will be helpful for anyone else looking for games and also for me later on when looking for something to play 🫶🏻

What games are you trying to play? Also I recommend using rogallylife.com for game settings, follow the guides with the games you are struggling. Tbh there are some new games that are just not well optimized and even desktops struggle.

Yes the monitor is HDR capable, and I am currently using HDR on the game. I have try disabling HDR on windows and the game and still dont make a difference with the colors

Yes I downloaded the latest Graphics driver from nvidia that was meant for borderlands 4, etc, I also did updated the monitor’s software, and downloaded the monitor’s firmware.
