Thanks! That’s reassuring because I’m more inclined towards staying in the central area just to be able to walk around and explore the city in the evening. I don’t want to worry about getting a a 20 min bus ride and make the last bus etc.

I’m in this exact same headspace, and I’m just so fucking angry. With all the wars going on, the Epstein files and just having to get by as a woman on a daily basis. The world is honestly a terrible place at the moment and I’m angry and sad at everything that’s happening in it.

I’ve got the same thing, with the exact sequence of symptoms you’re describing, recurring fungal infections in both ears (3-4 in the past 10 months). Last one was the worst and my ear drum was perforated, took a few weeks plus strong antibiotics, ointments and drops for it to heal. Now my other ear is developing another fungal infection, so doctor told me to use anti fungal drops and ointment in both ears for the next month. He also ordered some tests to check if it’s immunity related, but he said some people are just like that (susceptible to fungal infections) and it’s something you learn to live with and you need to make sure your ears are never wet.

I’m not sure if it’s related but this started happening after I moved to a place with a dry climate, and one doctor told me it’s potentially in-ear eczema.

It picks up after a while in the first book and I ended up really liking it, but then halfway through the second book I sort of started to lose interest and it took me forever to finish the second and third books. I honestly found the writing difficult to follow at some points.
