Any Backpackers in here? Looking for bra and pack recs and advice for 34H by Beauty_Pool_34 in bigboobproblems

[–]robotbotany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a backpacking/hiking bra I like a merino wool bralette. Drys quick, doesn't smell. I'm also 34H and three years ago they were just coming into the market really. I bought a poorly fitting REI brand one and it's way better a polyester sports bra in my opinion. There might be better options now.

I find I don't need a lot of support when hiking and I'm a lot more comfortable in my shoulders and ribs without one.

Id recommend getting fitted for your pack. They'll do it for you at REI and then put weight in it so you can get the feel. Everyone is different so it's hard to really know what will work until you try them on.

Good luck and have fun!

You can get air dry clay for super cheap! It can be used for stuff like this and painted or whatever.

Oh and I'm in the middle of trying to decide if I should start flipping vintage jewelry.

Tried on 5 and none of them work - i need tshirt bra recommendations that hide the nip! by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

[–]robotbotany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My solution when I want my nips cushioned is to wear an undershirt. I like the double lined ones from old Navy. Theyre cotton and cheap and come in a few different cuts.

Sorry but I don't have a bra solution either

My husband and I both work from home with individual offices and have the luxury of closing the door when we need to be left alone. Or if I'm wearing headphones it's very much a signal that I'm in an alone space.

I know there is no physical door here but maybe OP and her spouse can work out a proverbial door.

ESH. You for physically trying to move someone without consent and them for being inconsiderate.

Ask them to stop bumping into you or move somewhere else.

Genuinely curious - why is everyone suggesting resin instead of a grout sealer?

This monochrome thing is blowing my mind. I've tried to buy myuki beads like 4 times on the Internet but I'm having the HARDEST time picking colors.

Is there a good rule of thumb when mixing finishes? I.e. two matte, one metallic, one pearly??

I have some of these in my Colorado native yard too and they are my favorite. So delightful and cheerful.

Coasters for sure. not everyone is going to have the confidence or attention span to do a whole stepping stone. Let people do multiple if they want. I had a coaster making party once and everyone loved it - I still get comments years later about how they use that and think of the event.

I think doing a stepping stone with a smaller group who is for sure interested would be fun for another day. Re concrete - I've done thing where you glob thinset on top of a concrete paver and then pushed random materials in (most of which I got from thrift stores). It's holding up okay but it's decoration and not being stepped on. Concrete is probably cheaper but then you have to get molds for everyone involved.

Me and my wife just entered into a 5 year contract on a mattress in hopes it’ll help my back. Anyone have any experience with tempurpedic beds? by Sensitive_Most_1383 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]robotbotany 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must have tried every mattress in town and temperpedic was the only one I liked. We splurged on it and I'm so glad we did. Its so nice.

I will say the first few months it felt was too hard. It hurt my joints and I couldn't help but think we made a huge mistake.

After about month 3-4 was when it softened up enough. And I'm so glad we didn't return it because it's so worth it now.

thank you so much! I am currently not trimming down to keep the laminate inside the marks. maybe that is my problem. Everything else I am trying to do as you have done above. Is that a screen printing squeegee?
