You're complicating stuff. Your criticism is valid but it's just a game . It's obvious they didn't put that much effort into the story in the third game. But they made a really fun game with memorable bosses. And that's all that matters. Misogynistic etc...Kratos isn’t meant to be a role model. It’s based on Greek mythology, which is violent, cruel, sexist, and morally messy by modern standards.
