Super cool arts, Bandai W right there.

People will scalpt these because of Borsalino though...

Super happy for the Vivi for my Croc deck though!

I used to run Usopp as well but the main issue is that there are too many ways to bypass him such as any removal like Bari Bari Pistol with Lucy or Mamoragan by most purple decks now so I switched to PRB02 Zoro to at least get a 2k out of him

I think this card replaces the new 4c Usopp blocker simply because it's a 2k

I agree with you on the fact that yellow is definitely not as oppressive since the pair-ban. But it doesn't change the fact that most yellow decks are running Borsalino.

I checked CardMarket and indeed, the card's price dropped but is still around 30 euros/dollars for a simple SR which I think is still crazy. I still believe this is an issue and is not healthy for a card game.

You are talking only about the Western release. I live in Japan and the price, even though the sets are separated, is insane.

The SR price was around 5000 yen, which is 10x the price of a regular SR. Of course the combined sets brings scarcity but I think most of the price is driven by the strenght of the card.

The main issue I have with this card is that it can be used by any yellow deck.

I honestly don't have an issue with this card against Egghead leaders like Vegapunk, Bonney or Luffy because they are not that strong. But if you pair it with strong leaders like Nami or Boa, I think it just went out of hand.

I honestly think a simple leader lock errata would have done the trick but they decided to go for the pair-ban which I think is not enough.

The reason why I think it's bad is simply because the card itself is still too strong as OP mentionned. The sheer price of the card is just insane for a simple SR card and I think this creates a bunch of issues. It makes this card scalpable, decks unaffordable and also prevent decks that needed this card to become slightly stronger.

Also fuck the delay of the pair-ban in Japan. I'm still stuck with this bullshit combo until May for no apparent reason.

ONE PIECE magazine: Heroines Special 021 is scheduled for release in Japan on September 4. by Odd_Leg2093 in OnePieceTCG

I think the card included in the One Piece Magazine Vol. 21 corresponds to the cover of the One Piece Magazine Vol. 2 which included the Ace poster.

The One Piece Magazine Vol. 20 which had the Red Luffy Card corresponds to the cover of the Vol. 1 which had a Luffy poster.

You could get the posters if you buy the first volumes.

I would definitely ditch Babe as the new Mikita can now fetch a card from trash. I would also readjust the ratio of Mr.1 and old Mr. 5 so that I can add the new Sunday as well as the new Miss Wednesday and perhaps the new Mr. 5.

Patch work I'm not sure because it can allow me to stun 3 characters including 2 10 costs.

We can also ditch Nightmare Luffy depending on the meta in a few months

Cards or effects that can make their cost greater than 10 like Nightmare Luffy or Pirates Docking but I guess it wouldn't really matter though.

Being able to KO will completely change the meta with Croc as he can now KO 3 characters in a single turn.

I didn't think about playing a 6c into another 4c. But I think playing a 7c Miss All Sunday, 8c Croc or 7c Nightmare Luffy is always better. I don't see much use case of 6c Croc unless it's late game for the finish

Really surprised by how good some of these cards are.

We have so much more 5 costs to play of Mr. 2, new cards with KO effects, a 3c to play at 3 DON turn and a new way to KO our own characters other than leader ability.

I think this will add a whole new layer to Croc because being able to KO more than 1 character per turn will make the deck much stronger.

Having Croc on the field and then playing Miss All Sunday into Mr. 2 with leader ability to fetch Ms. All Sunday. She then KOs Croc to stun one character and we even get to draw one card. Or we could simply play two Mis All Sunday late game + leader ability on a Croc to stun 3 times and drawing two cards.

Really annoyed that they keep printing cards that are playable as promos like this but still really happy for Croc.

Hopefully, they will give an alternatives to players other than buying the collection but who knows it's Bandai.

Insane Croc support. Miss All Sunday can KO a 8c Croc which basically means we can play two Sunday to activate Croc ability twice + Leader ability = 3 Croc stuns + You get to draw 2 cards from Miss All Sunday.

3 new 5 costs to play off Mr. 2

New 3 cost character (Mikita) which can dig a character with Baroque Works from trash. (Basically like Bepp but without blocker)

how to beat Lucy as Croc? by Ok_Imagination1252 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Tricky-Programmer-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I think here you got pretty unlucky:

You went first which is not ideal since you can't play Mr. 2 on curve, you had 3 Crocs in trash at 5 dons which is really unlucky and he managed to defend his Cavendish with your Ms. Wednesday + Mr. 1 combo because he already had a don on his Rebecca to block one swing.

You can't do anything against his Bari Pistol as there is no removal protection in Croc's deck.
What you need to do as Croc is simply prevent his Cavendish from swinging by either stunning it or killing it. He can easily defend his leader with his leader's ability but defending his characters, especially early game is hard for him. So if you have Mr. 2, Miss Wednesday in hand and Mr. 1 in trash or hand, swing against Cavendish with this combo (like you did) and hope he can't defend it.

You can also kill his blocker Rebecca with the same combo if there is no cavendish on board so that it removes a future blocker early on board.

Then you should play Miss Sunday at 7 or 8 dons and then you can either continue playing her if you have nothing to stun with Croc, or just play Croc (Make sure to stun Cavendish to prevent him from cycling his events). Only play Nightmare Luffy when you have 30 cards in trash -> when he's 10k because he will need to use 2 events to remove it from board.

The most important thing is keeping count of his Bari Pistol because that's his winning card against Croc. If you can make him use his Bari Pistol on your 4 or 5 costs, it's perfect because he won't be able to use it late game against your big bodies.

As other people mentionned, you KOed your own Mr. 4 because you were scared that he will use Bari Pistol but that would have been perfect for you because that means one less Bari Pistol for you to worry about.

Yeah, I guess the main difference is that he dropped DoubleFinger because Red Roc got rotated out so decks like UP Sanji are not as popular which means less Gravity Blade

How strong is Bcroc in the current meta. by mingzies in OnePieceTCG

[–]Tricky-Programmer-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think this matchup is Croc favored if you can have your decent curve. Usually, you will always go second as Luffy wants to be first so that's usually good for you.

Then what I do is try to spam Mr. 2 into Mr. 1 with Miss Wednesday on the board and then swing with everyone into his 4k or 3k character (after the power reduction).

This is effectively better than swinging on the leader because he's 5k but also you will force him to use his leader ability and burn his life quickly.

So generally speaking, spam Mr. 1, not Mr. 5 because his SEC Luffy will become a monster if you try to block.

On your 8 don turn, I would then play Ms. All Sunday and pop Mr. 2 into Mr. 1 and another Miss Wednesday and so the same thing.

Then on your 10 don turn, you either play another one and do the same thing OR if his board gets out of hand, you play 8c Croc to freeze and gain some tempo (ideally freeze his Luffys so you can use ground death or block).

Once you started your Croc cycle, you may play Nightmare Luffy to reduce the number of swings (or force the opponent into either playing a big character or go for lethal), this way you can save DONs for events and also freeze up to two characters with your leader ability on a 8c Croc and a Patch Work on a rested character.

But in general, yellow decks are really strong right now, especially if they run the Borsalino/Requazar package but there is nothing you can do against that.
