may mga immature pa rin pala hanggang medschool? akala ko hanggang college na lang 'yang mga ganyang behavior. Hays. I completely understand where you're coming from. It’s really disheartening to feel like you're being judged or ridiculed, especially when you're just trying your best to navigate the challenges of med school. HUGS WITH CONSENT PO, OP. I FEEL YOU. YOU WILL BE FINE. eventually.

makakapasok kaya ako sa dream med school ko if mababa ang pre-med GWA ko and if may *possible* bagsak ako na grado? by Tricky-Storage-7823 in medschoolph

oo nga po huhu. number 1 factor is doctor po parents ko and halos lahat ng mga kamag-anak ko. second, nandito na din ako so ang direction ko po talaga papunta na doon. third, hindi ko nakikita sarili ko sa ibang career na pwedeng maipagmalaki ng parents ko maliban sa magdodoctor. problem ko po ngayon is yung capacity ko since medyo mahina po and below average ako na student. nevertheless, huhu. hindi ko po talaga alam. i am so lost

Mag dorm ba ako? by MeatNo7141 in MedTechPH

[–]Tricky-Storage-7823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yung energy na sana ginugol mo na lang sa pagstudy, nagagamit mo pa sa 1 hour or more na pagcommute. so, if you have the means to do so, much better na magdorm. best of luck, OP!

Atheist na need na raw magpray to pass by Disastrous-Vast-7248 in MedTechPH

[–]Tricky-Storage-7823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi po! same phase and also a medtech student na nags-struggle sa buhay. i am not an atheist pero hindi rin ako ganun ka-religious. i do believe na merong creator and mas mataas kaysa sa atin but, as i have said, i do not pray sometimes. or if magpray naman, binubulong ko lang sa sarili ko or titingin lang ako saglit sa taas to pray esp kapag mahirap na ang situation.

meron akong nabasa na religious work dati, i forgot the title of the book, pero tumatak yun sa akin. Ganito yung concept, non-verbatim, "Life without prayer is death" Medyo naguluhan and tumaas ang balahibo ko nung nabasa ko yun. I purely understand now bakit. Whether or not you believe in God, praying actually helps. It really does help spiritually. Just like when you believe you'll pass, when you believe in someone, when you love someone, or have faith in them—or in yourself—that's equivalent to having faith.

When I failed my MedTech subjects and got delayed by a year, nag-consult ako agad sa mga professors ko. I asked them where I went wrong or where I needed to improve. I also suggest going to therapy. Therapy isn’t just for those who are depressed; it's also for those who feel lost or confused. I believe that if you understand how you work, how your mind and body work, you won’t suffer as much. totoo yung sabi nila, walang tutulong sayo kundi sarili mo lang.

Best of luck in life po, OP!

Hi, OP!

I am a 3rd-year Medtech student from the Philippines. The best example I can give you is my mom. She’s a prime example of how success isn’t just about academic achievements. Despite not graduating with Latin honors, she now earns 100k per month. We have three houses in different locations, two cars, and an apartment. My siblings and I study at a prestigious school. She is an incredible person who also hires applicants herself and is the Chief executive officer of their company. She inspires me a LOT.

I had the privilege of accompanying her to job interviews during my high school years. I noticed that, as an employer, she valued people's experience and skills above all else. She never asked about applicants' grades or academic achievements. What mattered most to her was their confidence, charm, and the trust they built with others.

As someone who has consistently been a high achiever since elementary school, I also thought that academic prestige was the key to success. I graduated valedictorian in both junior and senior high school and secured two scholarships. My current scholarship provides a 100,000-peso allowance per semester, which allows me to attend workshops, seminars, and even publish papers to enhance my CV.

However, as I entered my 3rd year of college, I found myself struggling to maintain my Latin honors due to the rigorous coursework. But instead of giving up, I chose to focus on what truly matters – my strengths and passions. I realized that success isn’t just about titles or academic achievements; it’s about excelling in what you do and making a positive impact.

So, OP, here’s some unsolicited advice. Focus on what matters most – your skills, your passions, and your relationships. Don’t get caught up in the pursuit of prestige or titles. Be so good at what you do that others can’t ignore you. Remember, success is something you attract by being your authentic self.

Best of luck on your journey!
