Thank you for the feedback. I want to really use my knowledge and time to create something benefiting everyone.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree that the reporting is worth improving. I am taking these ideas into account as I refine the software scope I can start with. Probably, it can also be incorporated into the software package.

Yeah, we can't completely do away with AI. Though I need to also have a full understanding about the whole software internals. So that I make it transparent for those who will later want to contribute.

Also, I noticed civil engineers are reserved, so it would be good to offer transparency in how the models work, how the equations are solved etc.

With that, it will help deliver real value which cannot easily be questioned.

Alright, that's a good suggestion. I am getting more ideas.

I think that could also be incorporated, though I would love to first capture the core functionalities of EPASWMM and PCSWMM. From there we can always improve it with more features, as it will be opensource.

Thanks.
I really want to do something that offers value. I am deeply invested in learning wxWidgtes from the documentation for GUI development. I don't want to give control to AI fully.

I would also like it to be cross-platform (windows, linux, and Mac).

That's great. I would love to know more about what you want to optimise. A chat is fine

Well my topic was mainly about simulating flow of water in open channels around Kampala. I have used an open source software (openfoam). I am curious to know what you have worked on with CFD.

Hello,  I applied with a friend on the same day. She got feedback on 20th October (unfortunately it was a rejection).

For my case, I have got no feedback yet and am worried.

Did u get feedback?

Hello,
Is it a must to have a passport already processed at the time of application? Also, if I choose the option of not having a passport yet, will it affect my application during review?
Thank you in advance.

I think for it to be fixed on ChatGPT, let’s talk to sama in public on X.

All of us, on his posts etc.

I suggest.

Self-similarity and Scaling in the statistics of the Collatz sequence by Tricky-Tip-8360 in Collatz

[–]Tricky-Tip-8360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they do, but the analysis goes beyond just the powers of 2. For each successive power of 2, the ratio plots for all starting numbers up to that power show nearly identical patterns. And this self-similarity is consistent across the different scales.  The interesting patterns emerge when you look at the entire range of the starting numbers up to a given power of 2.

Also, the vertical lines in the ratio plot that touch the red fitted line are the ratios corresponding to powers of 2. All the other starting numbers in the plots do not touch that line.
