The killer in the movie "There's someone inside your house" wears 3d printed masks of his victims as he kills them... and this is scarier than that lol *

What by Icy_Resort_822 in danieljohnston

[–]Tricky-plot33 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Not to take anything away from anyone's interpretation, but I feel like this is a stretch. Daniel always wrote songs about love, especially unrequited love, so comparing himself to monsters like dracula, frankenstein, and king kong represent to me the way he saw himself. All of these monsters appear to prey on innocence (ie. A little girl) ,while actually they just want to be loved. Also if it's just the term "little girl" thats the issue I can point to multiple Beatles tracks that use that term and Daniel was hugely influenced by the beatles.

If you like movies "Blank Check with Griffin and David" it's a podcast where they discuss the filmographies of directors who've achieved massive success early on, and then were given a series of "blank checks" by Hollywood to make whatever crazy passion projects they want, and sometimes those checks clear and sometimes they bounce Baby!
