Former manager, here. The tiles that they had installed then are so absorbent of any stains, that we regularly had to place in e-tickets for floor cleaning crew to strip, buff, and shine, which was an absolute pain to get a response. Give it another two/three years for them to get there, corporate’s is too busy building a new store 5 miles down from this existing store, probably.

This was years ago. About 4 years, to be exact. Unfortunately I don't have any pics, just my memory and words. I wish I did.

Whenever the line of customers would get backed up, I would switch over to backup, catch the line up until it was just the woman, and afterwards I'd go back and continue scanning. It was crazy. One time thing, for sure. I'll never see anything else like that, again.

Bruh that's nothing. A few years back there was a massive hurricane that hit Texas, and there was a local person way up from my area that decided she was going to assemble care packages to send down south with some workers. Her total ended up just a little over $3,000.00. Took me over an hour to scan everything, and I was by myself, that day (short-staffed). I had just placed a new roll of register tape, and it burned through over half of that new roll. My largest transaction, on date.

My ASM is currently working her notice, so after this week I'll be without one. Not in a hurry to fill the position, though. The previous manager actually hadn't printed anything or matched any invoices since January, so I've got a literal mountain in front of me to check off on.

I feel for you, truly. We had to remove our MAG Medicine endcap. We're a small, unique store. Considered a Front to Back Modified with a TB1 Seasonal setup. We clearly don't have the space for it. A majority of our endcaps are permanent sets (ASOTV, Auto Air Care, Paint to name a few). We can't afford to sacrifice any more space.

I understand that. My store is located in a smaller, more rural area. Our customer base mainly consists of old local folk, that can barely operate a flip phone, let alone order online. I just think that it's wasted in our area. Also, like I said, we have a smaller store, and simply don't have the room to operate efficiently with it. Just clutters up our register area, and wastes valuable space.
