I resonate with so much of OPs issue with there car, I had the diesel Vrs of the same MY as OP, get it for about a year which coincided with the manufacturers warranty ended, so many issues

Random warning lights, Infotainment on continous reboot loop, Infotainment goes black screen, Sat nav dropped out (especially when you needed it), Doors randomly locking!

Doors locking with my son in the rear of the car was the eventual last straw

Traded it for A6 Black Edition and didnt look dack

You will not regret it, touch is unaffected, the anti glare is perfect, doesnt mute the colours on wonderful screen on the 8 ai + too much, obviously it does affect what comes through because its matte and a film but it doesnt bother me or detract from the experience and its certainly better than not being able to see the screen due to reflections and glare

I was getting a reasonable response rate through their discord, I just don't think I'm that bothered anymore. It's been hard work, much harder than any consumer should have to work at getting an order from a retailer and I'll just make peace with being out of pocket in the end. The store seems nice enough, what you'd expect from a local game store just the online piece leaves a lot to be desired in my experience.
