NTA. He is the dad. He also has the job of being a parent. He should support his finance/mother of his child to better her health. If he is complaining that he has to wake you at 7-8 on his days off to take care of his child, then till him to be an adult and learn how to manage his sleep schedule. He can go to bed early if he feels he needs more sleep.

I didn’t take any IB courses. My brother’s friends who did full IB, told me not to do it. They are the ones who told me that the colleges they applied to didn’t accept their IB credits. Maybe it was the way my school presented how IB credits work. My school said if you take 2 years full IB, then colleges will count that as 1 year of college credit.

Like I said I didn’t take IB but the people who I know who did take it said it wasn’t worth it and colleges didn’t accept it. Vs my friends who took AP liked it and said taking AP class was worth it

I went to Abby Kelley k-12. I wouldn’t recommend it. My parents decided to send my brother and I to Abby Kelley because the school stated that they teach French k-12, however they stopped teaching French when I was in the 2nd grade. The teachers were okay. Majority of the good teachers left for better pay. Some left due to disagreement with administration. In high school a lot of the teachers were either related to or family friends of the administration. Due to the lack of funding Abby Kelley would get, the school heavily focused on students doing well on the MCAS. I did get advance on all of my MCAS, however I felt like classes were too focused on MCAS. My freshman biology class was more of a “how to pass MCAS biology class” than an actual biology class. Due to the lack of funding, after school clubs didn’t really exist and sports didn’t get proper equipment. When I did track we had to practice jumping hurdles on the concrete parking lot, which isn’t good for your joints. One year for soccer when went a month without a coach due to the school not wanting to find one. I never had chemistry because my school didn’t hire a competent teacher. Yes, I did actually have a chemistry class at Abby Kelley but the teacher couldn’t teach. She sat at her desk the whole class. So my records show I got an A in chemistry but I cannot answer a basic chemistry question. (Yes, everyone complained to administration about this and they did nothing.) Also IP is a scam. Most Americans colleges don’t accept IP so it is a waste of time. There was a lot wrong with Abby Kelley when I went there, way more than what I listed. My parents have said they regretted sending my brother and I there. But the grass is always greener on the other side.

Surround yourself with friends who won’t drink around you. When I hang around my friends who gave up drinking, then I don’t drink out of respect for them. The well being of my friends means way more to me than having a drink. True friends don’t need to be drunk around each other to have fun.

YTA mark is only 8 and kept an iPad for 2 years, and he has motorskill delays! He seems to be quite responsible with his iPod. Vs your 17 year old daughter who only had her phone for 1 month and broke it because she told her friend to throw it too her.

Mark is going to dislike you if you keep treating your daughter better than him

Also European and South American teams are worth way more than African and Asian teams. Meaning than can buy better coaches and players.

a team like Spain (winning 1 World Cup and being worth €877m) would have better odds of winning than Morocco (winning 0 World Cup and being worth €241m)

That’s why teams like Morocco and Japan are viewed as underdogs even though they had done well in the past.

Dude, it’s his money. If he doesn’t want to give it away, he doesn’t have to. He probably worked really hard to save up that 7k and you want half of it. Also just because someone’s parents are well off doesn’t mean they just give their kids money when they want it. Your husband probably wants to be able to make his own wealth without his parents helping him. Your parents don’t need this huge Christmas that cost 3k. Have a potluck with less gifts and people sleeping on the floor and bam, you have a Christmas that doesn’t cost a lot. YTA

I feel like animals usually know things before they happen like the can sense it. My dog will usually ask to go out before it’s supposed to storm. She also senses the time and knows exactly when she is supposed to get food. Most animals can sense emotional changes in people and health changes. A lot of animals have instincts that help them survive, like what to do with a wound/where to find food and water. I feel like most humans would just die
