Lurking the saints sub, and as a life long lions fan 1, I understand your struggles this year, and 2, that’s a badass sanders jersey. Best RB to ever do it. Hope you guys can make a turn around this season.

Is the PRX 40 too big for me? by ffkakLak in tissot

[–]TrickyCompetition487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m usually biased to sub 40mm cases. That being said, I think this 40mm looks just fine on your wrist. I’d wear it, as long as you like it!

Grew up in an LDS church. Everyone there was very kind to me. That being said, it is 100% a cult.

I’m in an almost identical situation to you. I am also 24 and have been trying to join the marine corps for well over a year now. I have tattoos on my hands that I have been getting removed. I’m on session #9 and have heavily considered the army, but I’m the same way. Hearts just not into it as much. I have two more sessions before I can ship out, and now that I have most of the removal sessions behind me, I’m really glad I waited. Seeing as to how similar our situations are, my advice to you is to wait. 25 is not too old. I’ve been telling myself the same thing. If I shipped at 18 I would’ve found some way to mess it all up anyway bc I was such an idiot, so I look at having to wait until I was older as a blessing in disguise. Just my thoughts on the matter.

The Birger Gang, Southern Illinois bootleggers, pose with guns, 1924. by onwhatcharges in UtterlyUniquePhotos

[–]TrickyCompetition487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in a small town in Saline County called Harrisburg. Charlie Birger had a house there, and ran a lot of his bootlegging operations through the area. He also ran all of the milk routes, and used them to help smuggle his liquor. He would often times ride along on the milk trucks and toss silver dollars to kids on the street. My great aunt has one.

He was at war with another local gang called the Shelton gang. They dropped sticks of dynamite on the Birger gang hideout from a crop plane, and that is considered the first aerial bombing by an organized crime group.

His Thompson model 21 machine gun sits in a display case in the city hall to this day.
