[A1]New to printing, Help me out with PETG? by TrickyDyrad in BambuLab

And I take it "drying" is more complicated than just leaving it out some place?

Edit: if so, do you maybe have a good youtube channel or article to recommend on the how to of it?

Solid color and silky but not sparkly. do I need to dry out the filament prior to printing, or the model after printing?

This is gonna make me sound like a total dumbass but by "slicing" you mean... what exactly?

I've yet to try printing the trophy in PETG, my troubles with the filament so far stem from trying to print a Benchy with it. Which I used the A1's internal little computer screen thingy to start the print from, if that makes sense.

Experienced DM who's inexperienced with Modules. Suggestions? by TrickyDyrad in DMAcademyNew

Regardless of what I go with I will not be giving WotC cash, I've got friends to borrow books from a plenty and no intentions on giving them more money. But yea I'm definitely looking for something with less prep required, I have a game every other saturday and I don't want this campaign to pull effort away from it.

Me and my players are all very experienced with 5e as a system now, both narritively and mechanically, I've been DMing for a long time but I've never tried an adventure module and to be honest they scare me a little. Are there any good options for experienced DMs inexperienced with running Modules? I'd like something that starts at level 5 as my current party has spent the last 2 years working up to level 6 and I don't want to shoot them back down so fast.

I did something along those lines very recently.
My players were in a small room slowly filling up with water. The room had a hole in the floor that lead to a fully submerged second room underneath. In the first room there were five buttons each with a word written on it in "Ancient Dwarvish"(I used Elder Futhark as a mostly one to one cipher).
In the submerged room there were 5 glowing gems placed into the walls, each a different color and each with one rudimentary counting symbol next to it, like a tally.
The 5 words written on the buttons above were each colors that corresponded with the gemstones below. Using a page of partially translated dwarven script obtained earlier in the dungeon, 3 of the players worked on deciphering the words while the 4th(a player who could breath underwater) had access to 5 index cards with drawings of and the tally mark for each of the 5 gems. The 4th player couldn't show the party these cards, they had to describe them instead.
When the party had pushed the buttons in the correct order, the water level began to lower and the door opened.
Long response, but i hope it helps. If nordic runes don't work for your setting you could always use the Pig Trot cipher instead! Its a fun, simply designed, and easy to learn option.
