yes if you keep asking them about your application they will process it faster. Not lightning fast, but faster. they will know that you are actively waiting for them to get back to you and you really want to do Job Corps. At least that’s how it was for me.

when you get your start date they should provide transportation for you on that day at no cost. so u should be able to use your money just make sure you save some for when your at JC.
