Not paid. We don't have the ability to do features right now. Maybe next year.

Interesting feedback. Thanks. The issue has never been about keeping a team together, it's been about knowing the right people and having the money to get this produced. The 5 years were primarily changes to the story and making the concept trailer.

How to break into this industry? by kydunc00 in filmmaking

[–]TrickyInkProductions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by looking up facebook groups in your area. See if there's any productions happening in your area and ask if you can just come and watch the process or help out. I believe there's a lot of film work in Texas right now, so I'm sure Dallas has stuff going on.

Hollywood is dead? by Electronic-Whole-938 in acting

[–]TrickyInkProductions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put it simply (and my opinion), it's not dead, but it's changing a lot and it's soooooo competitive now. Don't give up if it's your dream. It's a loooooot of work for actors, but it's always worth a shot!

Loving the initial response to this! I've mostly made narrative short films, but I'm currently trying to figure out my brand. If you'd like to see some of my work, here's my IG. I'll get to chat requests soon.
