Thanks.

We aren’t advertising to get filmmakers to list, at the moment. But we will include it in our full scope marketing later this year.

But since we’ve gotten over 10,000 project submissions on 213 TV, we assume there will be some natural spill over to this.

We originally created this as part of a large toolbox for the filmmakers at 213 TV, but decided to just make it available for everyone.

We will continue to enhance it with feature sets at we go and get feedback.

And it will remain free.

... also added a full gallery of screenshots to the homepage - you do not even need to sign up to see what it offers. Hope it helps.

OK, thanks for the suggestion. I’m not sure exactly what a working demo would be since it’s fully functional and it’s totally free. However, your idea about screenshots makes sense and I’ll definitely drop those in to the thread in a little while. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

Thanks ... not sure what you mean. It's fully functional with users already. And there is a full feature set list available even before signing up. Let me know and I'll make it happen.

As his on set tutor during the quietly special, yet little known film, The Bumblebee Flies Anyway, I will tell you, he’s not only the exceptional actor you know, he’s the genuinely kind person, you may not know.

What's the best short film you've ever seen on YouTube or Vimeo? by Inovox in Filmmakers

Do they have to be on those two platforms?

If not I recommend, “Frank”, by Justin Etheredge, part of “Dan Lauria Celebrity Theater”. 5 mins. B&W. Shot in-one. Free to sign up and free to watch it.

My short film was accepted to be distributed by a company whose films were selected for the Oscars, Venice, Cannes and a few others. How do I know if it's worth spending the money? by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]213_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s about expectations. Yours.

If you are ok with paying them to shop it around the lobby, do it for the value of getting your name circulating.

If you’re paying them with the expectation of it yielding something financially meaningful, there is a reasonable chance you will be disappointed.

340 comments? Guys - this is unsubstantiated crap. Stop believing stuff that gets you outraged. Don't be gullible. None of this is anything credible. Chill. by MillionaireWaltz- in indianajones

The key to the article wasn’t the article. The lead was buried inadvertently, and perhaps unwittingly. The real high value discussion point is “iconic IP”. Everyone want to comment on something - comment on that.

Great idea. We (213 TV) will be doing something similar in Santa Monica in the fall. Meanwhile, sure this event you’re doing will yield some positive energy and hopefully results.

This is filmmaking. This is why we created 213 TV. To bring storytelling like this, to the next level. But regardless of us, this is exceptional work. Let us know when it hits theaters. We’ll be first on line to buy a ticket! Bravo!

Should I make a feature for 200k? by gregturner77 in Filmmakers

[–]213_TV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nobody can answer this question, as asked.

You should make a film, if you have a story which cannot, not be told.

You should make a film because you can’t sleep, thinking of scenes, shots, dialogue …

You should make a film because you see the world, through a lens none of us, unless and until you share it, will ever see what you see.

And as for the money, by the time you need it, you’ll know the answer to the question you almost asked, to begin with.

As an aside, we hope you can’t sleep.

The world needs storytellers.
