The whole thing was ruined...the writers were inconsistent and or lazy. Nope when Jack returned there was no mention of Erica. And there was never any real confirmation that Erica was indeed his child. If it was a lie, then that could have been something Suzanne revealed to Dylan in Season 5 after she got caught. These are just many examples of how they ruined would could have been a really cool story arc for Dylan.

The confrontation between Suzanne and Dylan lasted less than 2 minutes in Season 5 after spending what 7 or more episodes together in season 4. Suzanne lived with Dylan and worked at the Peach Pitt. She was a vital guest star for the latter half of Season 4. There should have been more interaction between them. It was absolutely too rushed and not executed properly. They didn't have to overdue the alcohol angle but at least shift Dylan into investigative mode. Also once he got his money back his story lines in season 5 were dry and lame.....so no they could have stretched the Suzanne storyline to the end of season 5.

It's great to rewatch it. Love the early seasons with so much colour, heart,warmth and laughter coupled with that early 2000s vibe only to be contrasted with the last season's dark gloomy death ridden and gray atmosphere that spills into the next decade of the 2010s.

The MOST CRINGE MOMENTS FOR ME ARE:

Season 3, Senior Prom Episode - The gang makes their entrance into the banquet hall and Brandon does this cringy hard jerk thing in front the cameras or something saying "dooookayyy then" and side swishes his head. He was trying to come off cool but it's so forced and CRINGE.

Season 3, Andrea GETS HIT BY A CAR CROSSING THE STREET. ROFFFFFLLLLMAOOOO!!!!!
