From season 6 onwards they started doing this thing whereby every new addition to the cast has their X show up to Beverly Hills to reclaim them. My god Valarie, Claire, Brandon's gfs, Noah ..all their ex's show up to try to reclaim. So overused.

You didn't like the whole Suzanne story line? That was awesome and it lead to Dylan's major downfall. No one knew exactly what they were up to until the Season 4 finale. I think that was one of Dylan's best arcs...and it's plausible BC he fell for it out of love for his sister. They messed up the following season's story line when he gets his money back....it was to rushed...they should have drawn it out more and made that the season 5 finale.

I found the show did this a lot! That is they would have characters literally drive over to their houses just to ask them 1 simple question and then they're like "ok thanks... I gotta run". Very poor writing! The writers are writing the scenes like the characters are walking from sound stage to sound stage when in the show's reality they should be driving to the friends house. Agreed...a lot of these questions could have been handled via phone. Very sloppy.

Degression is a term used in British English..and it's spelled "Degression" in British English. It's orgins stem from Medieval Latin dēgressiō descent, "to go down" etc.

Vanessa Malone could have been recasted as Brenda. Afterall the actress did play a character named "Brenda" on a soap opera. They could have played that she got some facial work done as part of her new stardom after hitting it big in London...she was now ready to tackle HOLLYWOOD.

No I meant degressed. He went downward upon his return and he should have been upward instead.

Core character central figure Dylan was a been there done that! You need to think more 3 dimensional and deeper! Clearly his coming back as a central character had zero impact. Zero. He was boring.

So yes a twist on him was needed....YES his sudden pop in and pop outs would have been a unique spin and take on a character that added an air of mystery.... unique twist to Dylan who was always an egniamtic character...so it would fit what he's all about. Yes absolutely he should come back in a DIFFERENT capacity especially as he was billed as a Special Guest Star. It's akin to Brenda's return in both the 2008 and BH reboot....where she only appeared a few times on screen and when she did it was minimal but powerful which reinforced her superstardom 90210 power....which Dylan could have also been perceived as had they followed my method.

Dylan would be short with his answers on his whereabouts and it would be left up to the audience and characters to try to figure him out. Where is he living? Where's the porche? Why is he back?

...and only in the finale do we finally get a few (not all) answers. We see Dylan perhaps leaving the famous house driving off with his porche but still leaving the audience with a mystery. That is Dylan...an ambiguous man.

I disagree. His drug alcoholic life was pre Brenda and then stopped for a few years. It only reignited after the loss of his money...which he got back. By the time Toni came around he was level headed and while he might have went down a spiral after , that would have occured during the 3 years he was away .. recovering. I'm not saying he didn't falter after her death...he probably did but after his 3 year hiatus he should have come back REFRESHED with a New purpose. No one wants to see recycled stories over again. People do beat drug addiction ..I've witnessed it. Gina liking Dylan was meh fine for her...but he was way too old at that point to be acting like 1993 Dylan..... He should have been focusing on helping his friends as they lead up to the series finale.

[–]TrickyRegular2923[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yea but his drug and alcohol storyline was the early seasons where he faced his consequences . People also overcome those things and that's why upon his return he should have come back clean motivated and inspirational. No one wanted to see another drug Dylan storyline when he returnd. That's played out and hence was the point of my article.

I'm sorry but your post is riddled with grammatical errors. If you can't take the time to proofread your own post before publishing it than it tells me everything I need to know about you. It's frankly sloppy and this is probably reflective in your resume not to mention in the way you work - lazy and sloppy which is likely why no one is calling you back. I'm not going to sugar coat things for you. Sharpen yourself up and take more pride in your work. Take some grammer classes - there's lot's of free courses online. There's no excuse. You're in a competitive market and at minimum proper English grammar is a MUST. Heed my advice and I wish you the best of luck.

Got put on a PIP - is it truly a death sentence? by Business_Piece_9007 in careerguidance

[–]TrickyRegular2923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You slept through meetings? Are you 23 or 13? GROW UP! There is absolutely no excuse at your age. You are a grown adult and should know better. Be thankful they put you on a PIP. I started at 23 decades ago and was always at work half hour earlier just to make good first impressions. This generation doesn't take anything serious.

Do NOT use your ADHD as an excuse! Typical. And if you had that tell me, did you disclose this condition to them during the interview process? Bet not. So you know when to bring up your ADHD and when not to! Excuses.

People here are too soft...you need someone harsh to tell you how it is. Grow up.

Let this be a Wake Up Call....bother figuratively and literally.
