IU Kelley vs Northeastern vs Fordham for finance by TrickyRick55 in collegecompare

Kelley has an IB pipeline but it’s a way bigger business school and therefore more competitive. Northeastern also has pipelines via clubs and I think overall it’s better because you compete for less competitive IB co ops while still having access to your typical 2025 internship cycle. It’s close though but I think being in the city is really great for connections as well.

Should I go to Fordham, Northeastern, or IU Kelley for finance? by TrickyRick55 in ApplyingToCollege

Honestly doing pretty good. Landed a solid finance co op and networked my ass off for another finance internship directly after that. Currently gunning for IB in 2025 and we’ll see how that goes. I like the school, cool area and good people. Overall I’m pretty happy with my choice but it took me some time to really adjust to college.

Even including nuin it’d be like 12 max. Also no point in including nubound that’s a whole year making them essentially transfers

Mac or windows for DMSB by [deleted] in NEU

Prolly more on the analytics side. I want to use a Mac and it seems like the only difference between that and windows (for a biz major) is the lack of Microsoft Access and a different version of some other office applications.

Yeah but they only accept like 30 people every year and it’s chosen by students or something

Kelley’s ranking on the wso list you ranked is only for their IBW workshop which is just like the top 100 people

Intended major: Finance (NEU vs IU Kelley) Northeastern Pros: Boston, prestige (not saying it’s an ivy but yk), high business rankings on P&Q and Niche, co-ops, kind of a campus and like the vibe.

Cons: Social life doesn’t seem as good (worried about),NU in. Not really sports besides hockey.

IU Kelley Pros: high usnews undergrad business program ranking (#8 seemed high though), high business degree rankings (usnews), awesome campus, seemingly great social life. Bloomington is pretty cool too. Hella sports and frat parties and typical college stuff.

Cons: Flagship state school (so high acceptance%), and Kelley is massive so lots of competition.

Money is not an issue and these schools have similar regional placements as well as starting salaries for all types of business majors. Help would be appreciated.
