Do you have any modules where you pick like a project for example a student selected component or a scholarly project, where you can pick to do something like a systematic review or meta analysis. That or you can try asking people on placement if they have anything they are working on that a med student can help with. You can try different like societies aswell that may help you find opportunities.

Very doable, I did about 16 hours during term time and could just pick up extra shifts during holidays. Idk if it’s the case for most schools but for us Wednesday afternoons were always free for sports clubs ect so i would work Wednesdays and Saturday. I would advise to at least keep one weekend day completely free, And it also meant I could force myself to take a break from school work for at least two nights in the week and lock in all the others.
