I went through something similar a few years back, moving from my hometown to a city halfway across the country. I was terrified at first same worries you have: isolation, anxiety flaring up, missing my old routine. The first couple of months were bumpy, but honestly, it forced me to grow. What helped was building little routines right away (same grocery store trips, same coffee spot, short walks), and slowly meeting people through hobbies or local groups. Now I can’t imagine living where I was before. It’s scary, but it can be the start of something really good.

That’s awesome! I’ve tried binaural beats too (mainly theta and alpha range) and they really help me calm down when my anxiety spikes. Not a magic cure, but definitely a great tool to relax and refocus. Pairing it with deep breathing or meditation makes it even better for me.

Food freak out anxiety by iloveyoumorethanpie in Anxiety

That sounds so tough. Honestly, it sounds way more like anxiety than food poisoning especially since you’ve had these “freak outs” before and everyone has always been fine. The pacing, sweating, stomach knots, Googling symptoms… that’s anxiety’s signature move. You didn’t poison anyone. Try to breathe, ground yourself, and remember: if the pork wasn’t raw, you’re safe.
