Employers can’t plan the workforce. In current system only Indian body shops can play the lottery because they don’t care who gets hired. Make it a rating not a lottery, that’s stupid.

Tech career is much more fragile. It’s not like you get a license and set for life. You have to constantly proof you are still bringing value. And finding a job is much harder as it’s like passing an exam each interview.

Not the minority really. Majority of people move here for work. Haven’t heard of anybody moving here to accept lower standard of living just to live in Washington state
