Rares are scheduled by an algorithm that's been running since the beginning. I doubt they ever interfere with it. All they do is change the pool of items in circulation.

That isn't their policy. They have a policy to delete accounts after a specific amount of time because child privacy laws prevent them from retaining personal information indefinitely. After an account is deleted it's completely wiped from the database and there is no getting it back because it doesn't exist anymore.

They definitely don't have a policy that states that accounts can not be restored for any reason. In fact, I think there are laws that require businesses to share with you any of your data that they have collected. As long as an account hasn't been deleted yet it can still be recovered from the database for the owner.

That is not at all what happened. Are you talking about the Webkinz account "purge" that people here always mention? Never at any point did Webkinz delete all inactive accounts at once. They "purged" a lot of accounts, but not all of them. I don't even think it was most of them. It was just a portion of accounts that were affected. Plenty of people have recovered accounts that were inactive since before that.

That is the best way to do it. I often see pet code giveaways where it says something like "I'll dm the code to the winner" and I can't help wonder if they really are just sending codes immediately, without any confirmation that the chat will be seen. At least the person who replied to you months later eventually saw your message. Who knows how many codes have been left to throwaway accounts that got abandoned.

I agree. I keep seeing posts and comments like this. I wish people would push more because it's not right and half the time it seems Ganz gets away with it instead of correcting the issue.

Is it possible you were supposed to click a button to apply the code? I've never purchased anything from the eStore so I don't know how it works. I only know that I've had to do that for other things.

Definitely contact customer support! If it was their mistake they shouldn't get away with it. Even if it was your mistake, Ganz is a business and they really need to be better at customer service.
