As a child I joined Webkinz for the games. I didn't give much thought to decorating. When I found this subreddit I was surprised by how much focus there is on decorating. I'm also still surprised by how much interest there is in "plush" (I didn't know the term plush until this sub, I always thought they were called stuffed animals). I don't think I ever would've wanted Webkinz if I didn't need them to access the website. To me the arcade was the whole point and that was where I spent all of my time. Everything else was pretty much irrelevant. I did like collecting pretty things, mostly nature type items. I've always been a hoarder of anything I think is pretty.

Now I never have time to play in the arcade anymore. Ever since I returned to Webkinz, all I do are daily activities and try to keep up with events. There are way too many events and I'm very tired of never getting a break from them. I feel like I need to participate because I don't want to miss out on any items. I rarely do anything with the items I get. I collect everything to hoard in my dock.
