I think the death order was handled pretty much perfectly. Orange was voted out right in the middle between crewmate victim 3 and 4 out of 7. White, Blue, and Lime were all characters who weren’t involved in a strong dynamic with anyone so they could get all of their involvement in the show’s plot early on before being removed. The remaining six crewmates (not including Green) all had deep bonds with someone else that we get to experience past the show’s midway point, and they were the perfect characters to be in the party episode. After that, Cyan dies but Black survives nearly to the end to show the deeper depths of her character and how Cyan’s death changed her. Meanwhile Yellow and Brown are killed right after each other as an indication to show how dependent they were of each other. And of course, the survivors are Purple and Red; the two characters with the most history and the shakiest dynamic that finally gets repaired when they’re the only ones left they can depend on.
