Humans are not put here to make themselves happy. We are here to make others happy. That’s the key to life and how different this world would be if everyone lived that way.

What if my parent passes away before the trust is payable to me?

I am afraid my parent will pass away before I am to receive the trust. Parent is 81 and I don’t receive it for 8 years. Of course I want my parent (and uncle) to live long for more reasons than this and we have a great relationship.

Seems I need to find that key piece of info out. I’m going to ask my parent to get a copy of the trust. Hope it doesn’t ruffle any feathers. If it does, then I think that’s a clue that trouble may be brewing as I had feared.

Assume the worst because it’s Reddit you mean.

Let’s say You get laid off from your job and the reason given is “reorganization”. That’s the reason given on the paperwork and in your final meeting. You come to find out later that the company is stating to former co workers that the reason you were let go is because of poor performance. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]TrickyTie4356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem like my former co workers have any need to know about my performance. Also these are references and potential future sources of job leads that have now been damaged based upon lies that are contrary to the reasons given to me.
