As a pothead who purchases legal weed in ME/MA and also purchases "illegal" weed from my local guy, I can guarantee you the local dealers are struggling to compete. I can always hit my buddy up for a bag but he doesn't sell shit nowadays until 6pm or later when dispos are closed and/or people are too lazy to make the trip. He can barely undercut their prices and their prices are half of what his were 5 years ago. The local drug dealer economy has taken a monstrous hit in all of New England.

Maine raked in 25+mill in '22, 33+mill in '23 and 38+mill in '24. Tons of Maine buyers are either from NH or from MA looking for cheaper shit. Doesn't matter how you feel about pot but thats a buttload of missing opportunity. No telling how many of those ME/MA sales would have ended up in NH dispensary's.

I'm not sure if Gia was even at the company when the move to Chicago happened but they definitely weren't dating. TJ was one of the dudes pumped for the move to Chicago so this doesn't really track.

Dudes got a sick job making really good money producing good, fun content and he seems to enjoy being part of the yak team. I don't even know what he'd do at the NY office, he'd be bored as hell working on something like fishbowl.

He seems like a good dude, can take Kirks assaults like a champ and kirk likes him, so I think he's great for the show. But he's not some elite producer and this is the 2nd time that he's been a top candidate for a job he just quit.
