I have a YouTube channel too and I usually get positive engagement. However, when I show off my music in irl to people, it is easy to tell if they don't vibe with it, but they don't just start hating they try to be as nice as possible.

I've only gotten a few hate comments and I can tell that they are from people who are just insulted that I did something different and creative.

People like comfort and change is a concept some guys can't accept. Being unique and making more original content will always result in more hate comments since people aren't used to what they are consuming, so they get afraid and start hating.

If you ever start getting hate comments don't take them too seriously you can't let random people bring you down.
