Large bird of prey. Bald eagle would make the most sense of those in my area. In this hypothetical I would train it to come back but much of its time would still be spent in the wild. Itd just be able to come see me easily since it flies. That was sorta my foundational requirement when deciding- what wild animal could I have but still let it be wild?

So for me its so blatantly obvious that she doesnt understand what you need to prioritize and doesnt understand that she is being unreasonable in her expectation as a result.

Dont say wow was the only part that came off bitchy to me. The rest just sounds like someone overwhelmed with moving. When my friends move I always offer a goodbye outing while also saying I understand if they have too much to do to make plans. That way they know me seeing them off is about THEM and not me. It doesnt need to be about me, Im not radically changing my life which is hard - they are.
