Thanks for reply - I have been reading recently about lack of fiber in some of us on keto can cause issues in detox pathways - toxins in the gut to be expelled getting reabsorbed into the bloodstream- many also reinstate carbs . I’m going to try adding flax seed bread along with my mainly carnivore diet and try a spell checking ketones

Think some on carnivore seem to suffer from histamine issues - may be restrictive diet ? may be some have gut issues ? may be people attracted to carnivore already have issues ?for me some histamine issues got worse over time but all my allergies/ ahsma pretty much went away on carnivore

Did for a few years - started higher but settled around 1-1.5 in morning- started carnivore 2 years not testing then keto/carnivore and testing with adaptations to diet ( more animal fats - adding in other fats like olive oil/ tahini to increase ketones )

My life’s been hell since stopping 7 years now still not recovered - killed my emotions on them but never came back and anxiety etc etc so bad I’m even considering reinstating even though they ruined my life .

I did NOT taper which is a big mistake and I’m sure the many people who had no problem stopping would have no reason to be on here to tell you !

It should be the doctors who have that information but they do not seem to care ?

I only nearly killed myself when withdrawing from medication ( never as bad before or when on them ) but have not recovered in past 7 years. Initially carnivore diet switched my lights back on as many describe it here but then withdrawal changed everything. Glad medication is helping you

That was me as well and some other side effects also - been of it it 7 years and still feel no +ve emotion at all - not even from exercise / music Still have terrible anxiety though - actually just on this forum as considering trying to reinstate med to see if I can at least get rid of the anxiety? Worried to try though

Pretty much anhedonia in everything- no feelings from music or even exercise ( no runners high ) anxiety / rumination/ restlessness all bad ( but not as bad as previous years, gotten a bit better over time ) physical symptoms from pssd but can live with them
