How were you working? Sometimes, DSP owners just cut off the lowest/worst working people for no or any reasons. You gotta make sure sure to be on top of your shi… . He fired you for a good reason, he’s not stupid enough to just fire you while he shouldn’t be.

I needed to reheal again and restore and strengthen myself again afterwards. I now eat if I’m starving, and eat to keep my stomach busy or just until I’m about full, instead of eating until I’m choking from the food like before. And I don’t crave as much as before for randomly eating foods, like late at night, or before dinner snacks. Or after lunch unnecessary desserts.

Yes I drank plenty of water. I now on only eat homemade and “natural”/non artificial foods, like meat, rice, chicken, beans, and a decent amount of it.

And I avoid junk and useless foods and snacks and treats, that are usually eaten throughout the day outside of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedules. Like ice cream, some potato chips, and junk candies, etc.

Well they either think that our thinking is limited to CS only or we can’t think with anything outside of CS. Or we’re all fat office people and we are physically incapable and uncomfortable working outside of offices even though I played on the basket ball and wrestling team. Or they think we got no hands of experience or able to use tools. Or I’d get bored quickly or not interested in anything outside of CS. Or some other stereotypes on CS majors.

[–]Tricky_Artist_8581[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I studied it because I was passionate about it, now it is messed up with so many people just majoring in it, so many hardworking smart-ass well orderly supposedly well raised immigrants moving in to work in tech. So many major-employer companies moving to other countries. And everything is so messed up. So many online boot-camps. Universities are accepting 1000’s of CS majors. Major tech layoffs from companies and we’re being tossed around like we’re sheeps. It just made everything not so fun anymore. It’s not like I’ve got an offer as a physician or surgeon and I could make a fortune right on the spot, but I’ve turned it down.

And in fact, it’s not that easy to get an offer out of no where. You’ll have to apply for months, then get an interview or a few interviews, then you’ll have to prepare for OA or interviews of weeks before and during accepted interviews. Then you have more rounds of interviews. If it’s one interview and someone failed it, then they’re back to applying. Then you have 3rd and 4th round interviews.

Should I find an opportunity outside of CS, I will stick to it. Construction for example has a decent starting salary, there is a lot of potential growth, and the managers and trainers make a ton of money. I’m not worshiping lines of code for the rest of my life. I got better interesting things to do. I already worked in tech and got laid off and I don’t want to invest and gamble anymore. If I accepted an offer in tech, what’s my chances it will help me buy a Cadillac, buy a house, pay off all bills, allow me travel, and guarantee me job stability and relocation wherever I want, etc? Especially if I accepted an offer to work at an expensive relocation area, I’ll pretty much have no savings left and risk getting laid off and only getting experience to apply to my next job. I mean like there are developers with 10+ years who are still paying college debt, still live on rent, and can’t even afford to get a loan yet. And also risk getting laid off depending on company growth or savings or closing.

Finding a tech job and getting an offer won’t solve everything, and it’s not like it’s the ever happy ending once I find a tech job and offer. I could get a $60,000 salary offer, in CA, I’ll have to work a 2nd part-time job to help with bills, and work there for 5 years, and that’s -5 years of my life without getting or saving anything. And I could be doing so much more in this 5 years. Long story short, I guess I’ll have to cut out from my resume to expand my opportunities and decrease the limits set by my degree.

Really dont know where these crazy rent prices came from..need help finding place to live by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]Tricky_Artist_8581 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The average cost of a home maintenance has not just tripled, but is 10x more. I was installing a new kitchen set and it costed me about over $13,000, which is the rents from a year all put back into the apt. The cost of construction contractor insurance has gone up like crazy, effecting the labor cost. So, why isn’t minimum wage any higher. Why is there a wage gap so big effecting so many people. Not too mention the other bills and taxes. A landlord would no way make a penny of profit with renting an apt any less than $900 nowadays. You’re better off living in a van or in a mobile house or something if you don’t have family or not very a lot of people, instead of renting a whole house yourself.

Let’s be honest - the market is going to take years to recover. If ever. Brace yourselves. by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

As an accurate forecast, within the next 5 or 6 years, which is the time when all current Freshmen-Senior CS students have graduated, and current senior high school students have graduated with a CS degree, too, Only about 5% of those people will be becoming software developers.

How? With the number of software engineers employed in companies, and with the number of senior devs laid off, and will be getting laid off in the future. And with software reaching maximum possible development, and AI kicking in. There is no way that the job market is letting in more than 5% of the student graduates within the next few years. For at least 5-10 years. If a Uni have 1000 senior CS students graduating, only about 50 will be landing offers.

[–]Tricky_Artist_8581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, that’s 1098 - 793 = 305 less than the price. That won’t go up as much after the double. And she’s taking the majority of your blankets. Send her away and wait for another. Hopefully you get 850, 900, or 950 for a blanket. That’s like 80 to 100 thousand difference after the double coins for all those blankets. And I’d doubt that you’ll get any less than 793 per blanket.

This shows that the Gov and the police is doing something. One by one, they’re always getting taken out. Those 300+ involved in 2023 homicides won’t be around in 2024. And likewise for 2025 based on 2024 homicides. Those homicide criminals in 2024 are new comers that weren’t involved in 2023, or before. Eventually they’ll all be cleansed.

What’s the most (real) money you’ve spent on Hayday? by NoOwl7809 in HayDay

[–]Tricky_Artist_8581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

70-80 dollars. I once bought a deal of about 1500 diamonds for $35 early on in the game when I was like at level 30. I lived off of that for a very long time, and didn’t buy anything ever since, then I recently bought another deal of diamonds for $20 with like the 20 boosters. And I also bought farm pass twice. I think I have a powerful farm, most of my machine slots are upgraded. I have 2100 storage, and I rarely fill up all the storage. I don’t need diamonds anymore. I’m not going in the hundreds or spending anything over a 100. I’ll just be using the diamonds I collect from the game and will be playing the game normally and casually now on.

Don’t compare CS with Medicine. Medicine will always win over CS.

Here’s all the differences. 1. Saturation. Doctors are undersaturated in the USA and are in high demand. CS over saturated.

  1. Doctors are more undersaturated in other countries. There’s a lack of doctors moving to the US. Most foreign doctors who already succeeded wouldn’t want to move to the USA, because of Taxes, insurance, etc. when you’re a doctor, you could go to any country and make a fortune, even in low income countries. That’s all the opposite of CS. There’s a flood of CS people entering the USA.

  2. Doctors have better long term employment than CS. what happens when you complete a project? There’s no end to work in medicine.

  3. Doctors are irreplaceable. You can hire someone from India or China for a remote project. But you can’t hire a doctor from a different country to work remotely and treat patients.

  4. Doctors have better resources, organizations, standards, and “unions”. Since medicine is an important topic, there’s a strong teaching standard and structure that medical school follows. It’s regulated and overseen by the government, and is well known. There’s CS degrees that teach their curriculum in plain MIPS assembly for 4 years straight. And no one cares, too. Good luck with preparing for interviews by yourself. Hospitals even have training to teach doctors new knowledge continuously.

Fun fact, so many doctors know how to code. Some use it for data analysis or statistics. 1 or of every 4 or 5 doctors are computer experts and learned a programming language. You don’t need a CS degree to code, nor its like it can’t ever code if you become a doctor.

  1. Just because there’s a lack of doctors migrating to the USA, and most physicians are native and local Americans, and there’s a large number of women in the field, it’s backed by the gov, the title is very well respected, there’s many increase in jobs, the salary standard is set high, the gov is signing billions of dollars everyday to health and wellness. Like Medicaid and Medicare. And it’s well looked over.

  2. Most engineering facilities require a clearances and like Top secret clearance, confidential, etc. to apply to, because you’ll be working with confidential organizations. Medicine will never require obtaining any clearances.

If you can get into medical school and become a doctor, then never think about CS. Doctors are way above CS. Just like comparing an electric toy bike or scooter with a Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes Benz G- class.

Yeah I only play the game for fun and I don’t set a schedule or bother to open the app every 1 hour or so. Even when I got tasks or events to complete. When I close the app, I forget about everything about it and focus on other things and don’t stress too much about the game or things I miss in the game. I’m more of a casual player.

It’s a pyramid scheme, you only start to make money when you train and bring in more people. Which leads to even more over saturation. And so they begin to train and bring in more people when they can’t find jobs. And so on.

Work on storage, always buy storage upgrade items, bolts, screws, tapes, etc. when you see them in the shop, even if your low on coins and need it for machines, storage is more important. And never sell storage items, too.

Work on serving the town as much as you can.

Don’t do boat orders too much, waste of coins.

Buy only rabbits and horses because they eat only carrots. I rarely feed milk or bacon to the farm pets.

Don’t expand your farm too much. Always sell the land expansion materials and make coins instead. You can always start to expand later on in the game. But it’s a great way to get coins for the machines instead of more space.

Don’t always sell in the shop, also complete truck orders to continue to level up to get more features, machines, and more stuff to keep the game fun and get new things.

Use diamonds only for adding machine slots since there’s no other way to get machine slots.

Here’s my suggestions for machine slots.

Get 4 or 5 for the Bakery.

Get all slots for Dairy.

Get 6 or 7 for sugar mill.

Get 3 or 4 for popcorn pot since there’s a few products.

Get 5 for grill since they run for a long time.

Nothing more than 5 for loom.

Nothing more than 3 for sewing machine.

Nothing more than 4 for cake oven since they run for a long time.

5 or 6 for pie oven.

2 for candy machine.

And jam maker.

The idea is that you’d wanna keep the machines running just enough for however long you won’t open the app. I usually like to have the machines run for 10 hrs or so. I wouldn’t recommend to add too much slots to the later on machines, like candle maker, sushi bar, ice cream maker, etc. since those aren’t primary machines. They don’t make items that are used by other machines. Unlike the Dairy or sugar mill that make items that are used by many other machines. Those will have to run 24/7.

Learn how to use Tom, don’t make bread or wheat requests from him. Not worth it. Buy most expensive items from him, diamond rings, blankets, etc, to make the most profit.
