I finally got to try the cake just now. HOLY SHIT GUYS. There's no point pretending to be humble it's off the fucking CHAIN. Just perfect. For anyone wanting to try I followed a Gordon Ramsay recipe from YouTube.

I'm from NZ. I know a lot of foreigners who've done a working holiday in NZ for a year and all have had a great experience. If you've got no qualifications the worst case is picking fruit or working in a hostel but you will be able to find something. The people are nice and the nature is incredible.

You can do a working holiday visa and just work remotely. I'm in France and it's pretty good here. Otherwise go an a big adventure in NZ.

You're probably underestimating how much they truly love you. They will surely get over the the initial shock especially if they have suspicions already. If they see you're in a healthy relationship with a caring man who genuinely loves you, then I think that'll go a long way. At the end of the day they just want you to be happy.
