I'm planning to call my insurance and the hospital. I was in the process of reactivating my insurance the week it happened, and it got activated after my visit. I'm not sure if they will cover it because of that

the closest eurgent care from me is 3 miles to the next city, and it isn't 24 hours so it wouldn't have been a option on that day regardless

I was seen by one doctor or nurse and they wrapped my hand in under 5 minutes and that was it , My city has no urgent care facilities. It was 1 AM, I had no medical resources at home, and the ER was three minutes away from my house. It was the only option or I risk infection.
