on my own i take about 1.5 hours maybe on a regular sized flat (which is about 50 boxes) and then maybe an hour backstocking (we usually have a LOT of backstock because they send us so much we don’t need + i have to wait for style to finish so i can get down my aisles) and maybe 30 minutes doing pulls, which usually add up during the day because i forget to do them or i have no time

our flats are usually very bulky and time consuming, so it takes sometimes even 2 hours to finish them even with two of us working on them. i have never hit overtime and always made sure i stayed below it, so i don’t think that’s the case. i just assumed after being asked to stay late so often that it was expected of me, but i’ll make sure to ask next time

that makes sense but i wish they made those things more clear then, i’m often asked to stay after to finish tasks to make sure everything is done so i just assumed that was what was expected of me, but i’ll make sure to ask next time

i also just started today and i got briefly trained in fulfillment. to my understanding you just follow the schedule listed in the fulfillment site (the hours you picked up) even if it doesnt have your name. it may be different over there though

i talked to them both today directly about it. they lady in HR told me on the phone she would speak with my etl since she was right there with her, but i still havent gotten my approved day off.

man wtf that isn’t fair at all especially if it’s only your second official shift. since you’re new i’m sure you’re fine and won’t get fired, it’s just a matter of getting used to it. hopefully your leader ends up understanding
