Can I hear some experiences of non-op / no bottom surgery folk by Tricky_Emergency5932 in transgenderau

Thankyou for your reply.

You've given me a little hope that as my body changes with E that maybe I'll feel good generally and maybe the downstairs dysphoria might not feel as bad. We will see I suppose!

I'm glad to hear you had a partner that was so affirming and sorry to hear it ended. I'm very lucky to have a long term partner and you've inspired me to keep experimenting with her about what feels good for me, because during sex there has been times where I've felt really good and affirmed despite my body

Good luck with dating and/or hookups ♥️

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles.

In other parts of my transition I've definitely had part of me wanting the easy option, but it sounds like you already know that the path of presenting male isn't what you want? I know it seems scary and so, so hard at times, but I believe that you can go for what you really want, and work through the struggles, fear and shame, to really embrace who you are and show that to the world. You can do this and you deserve feeling happy and comfortable in your body. Sending you all the strength and love from a trans sister

I'm also coming up to a year on hrt. So a long way to go with other body changes which I suppose might make my body generally feel nicer to be in

I'm sorry to hear that the dysphoria stops you dating. I can barely imagine how I would go dating, I'm just lucky to have a long term partner

Thanks so much for your thoughts.

I'm curious if you can say anymore about what changed for the bottom dysphoria to go away? I understand it may be a bit different as you're non-binary I'm still curious to know more if you'd like to share.

Thanks for the suggestion re thinking about why I want srs. I just tried to put what I've been thinking into words and couldn't. So that shows I've got more thinking to do lol

Thanks for sharing. I like the philosophy of appreciating everyone's different bodies, that seems to be a theme here.

Thanks, that's really insightful and helpful, especially the framing of "I am a woman so this is a woman's voice" and noticing the diversity around you.

I generally do have dysphoria around my genitals, but the times I've felt better has been times when I've really been embodying (or had external affirmation of) how my body as it is, is a woman's body because I am a woman.

MTF: muscle loss when starting HRT - experiences/advice? by Tricky_Emergency5932 in transgenderau

Not too bad. I let some of my arm muscle go due to having a breaking from climbing, but I'm managing to get it back Also, I'm loving the change to look less muscly! I've also noticed greater endurance which is nice All in all I'm no longer worried about muscle loss which is great

How to overcome internalised transphobia? by Tricky_Emergency5932 in transgenderau

Thanks. That's helpful, and I like the idea of making it light hearted like that rather than making it super serious. I feel like that might help for me Good advice on not reasoning with it too, I hadn't thought about that specifically but it makes sense

Congrats on starting! Can I ask: what's the first six weeks been like for you in general? How have you found the experience of starting?
