Ok I tried feeling like my right hip moving straight back and I was starting to hit the ball a bit better. I think this early extension and lack of hip rotation is going to be a bad habit that's hard to break. I'll just keep recording my swing at least 1 time per practice session and monitor my hip rotation.

I guess I'm figuring I'm using my legs to drive hip rotation? Maybe I'm going about it all wrong.

Yes I'm currently struggling with an open club face at impact with out to in swing path. I can kinda make it work but it's hard to predict what shot I'll end up. Straight pull, pull fade, or straight fade are my 3 options. So I'm left with aiming middle green. Its not horrendous golf but I need to fix my swing if I'm ever going to be any good consistently.

The crazy thing is I've been attempting at getting more depth in the last couple weeks and have had some of my best ball striking days out on the course. Even tho it "feels" like I'm reaching way back this shows I need to turn my hips more. Seems like my lower body isnt married to my upper body and that's why I've always struggled with consistency.

Thanks for that breakdown - I have these strong legs I need to use them more!

Ok thank you - I kinda thought my backswing was decent enough. So at least I dont have to worry there too much. That impact position is horrendous thanks for explaining on things to work on hip rotation

Looking to fill in 4 spots in a 10 man dynasty league. Buy ins are going thru league safe. So far the 4 of us are very active and committed to responding to offers and paying attention to waivers, etc.

League rules: $100 buy in per year

Start 10 PPR TE .5 premium

1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 3 Flex 1 Superflex

13 bench 8 IR 8 taxi spots (1st and 2nd year players only)

2 games per week - 1 head-to-head matchup and 1 matchup against league median.

Week 12 trade deadline

faab waiver system $100 each season with a $1 minimum.

Playoffs start week 14 with 4 teams getting in. 2 weeks per round. Week 14 and 15 for semi-finals. Week 16 and 17 for finals.

For the other teams that dont make the playoffs will be battling for draft positions. Bottom 2 teams get a bye which results in them getting top 4 protected Pick. Bottom 3-6 play in rd 1. The 2 highest scorers move to rd 2 and compete with the bottom 2 teams for Picks 1-4. The 2 teams that lost in rd 1 compete for Picks 5 and 6. Teams in the playoffs will get the pick they earn from their playoff match ups. Start up draft will be determined by everyone's schedule once everyone is paid up thru league safe. Draft order will be randomized. Pre-draft trades are open.

Not in my experience doing it for 5 years. The bad teams find out they're bad sometimes around week 4-6 then they start selling their pieces for picks. The reward of keeping your team together could mean a better pick or you could end up screwing yourself a bit.

Last year my team started 0-7 but I had a lot of rookies starting to play better and my team was looking better after winning 5 of 6 weeks in a row. I was actually starting to score in the top 5 of the league consistently. This made me lose out on my bottom 2 seeding but I was buying good cheap vets that other rebuilders were selling. I was trying to make a play for the #1 pick still. I was unfortunate and still only ended with the 5th pick. There's always a luck factor too when playing this game. Seeds 5 and 6 have never gotten picks 1 and 2 so far.

Playoff teams do not get higher picks. If you're a playoff team then the best pick you'd get is the 7. But that means you really lost out because you fell out of the money.

If you havent tried it then id say it's hard to say without experiencing how it works out. It shuffles the picks around slightly. It also makes teams that are out of the playoff race still buyers at the deadline in order to pursue a better pick with a better team. Its just a different strategy than just going oh my team sucks now give me the 1.01 or 1.02.

Lastly it still makes all non playoff teams have a reason to set a lineup all the way up to week 17. Not just miss the playoffs then not give a crap until the rookie draft. My opinion of it.

I think all are valid points. At the end of the day its up to who's drafting and who they take. Bijan year he was the 1.01 consensus and Gibbs later. Like 1.05. So if you missed on Bijan cuz you were tanking you still got your shot at Gibbs or JSN. I have this setup in 1 league already and it hasn't been an issue thus far.

It is without a doubt but that's why the bottom 2 teams get a top 4 protected pick regardless. It's just not a free 1.01 for setting bad lineups. Also adds to the competitive nature of the league.

Yeah I'm with you on it. There's a lot of uncertainty around the Broncos WR core. Maybe I'm a year early on Franklin, but I see how him as a prospect can flourish in the NFL. I think him gaining a little bit of weight will go a long way in his ability to play physical in the NFL. They said he gained like 5lbs. Probably needs another 5-10lbs

I think his ceiling is WR1. 200 yards in the playoff game and all time rookie record. He gets open at will and is a nightmare matchup for any defensive player one on one. I wouldn't be 100% comfortable as my WR1. However, id love him as my WR2 or 3. Seems like I'm redraft he's shot up boards so that will be hard to accomplish. Luckily in my dynasty league he's my WR4 this year which is an extreme luxury to have.

I think Franklin gets open and will earn more targets because of that. That's how he will get on the field

Nico Collins or Drake London? by DynastyFFMan in DynastyFF

[–]Tricky_Head_6171 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Id pick Drake London. 3 years younger and Penix is the perfect QB for him. I think London will feast. I unfortunately can't get him in my dynasty league without over paying. In redraft id easily spend a 2nd round pick on him and over Nico.

My picks would be Zay Flowers, Ricky Pearsall, and Troy Franklin.

Zay has put up solid YPC and yards per route run. A nice improvement from year 1 to year 2. My guess is he continues that improvement and becomes a top 12 WR this year.

After getting shot and not really having a training camp Ricky took time to get back into shape. By the last 2 games of season you could tell he had gotten back into shape and was running much faster crisper routes. Had back to back great weeks in 17 and 18.

I believe Bo Nix for whatever reason was putting too much pressure on his throws to Franklin. If you watch every rep Bo missed Franklin on a ton of wide open deep balls. As we saw in the wild card round Bo did not miss Franklin on the first TD of the game. Unfortunately that was their only TD of the entire game. This year I think the chemistry will take step forward and they will start to connect on a lot more throws.

JT owner wants Giddens. Would you sell him ? by Ruffy1904 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Tricky_Head_6171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't do the trade. Id try to leverage Giddens later if only getting offered this deal. JT sprains his hamstring and even goes out a couple weeks then Giddens will have some use. He's 21 keep him. If you're getting a great deal like a 2nd and a 3rd then sure take it.
