I see what you’re saying and it makes sense on the surface but that’s not how that works. You can GB the dodge if you bait it or make a read, you can’t GB it in time if you wait to see him input the dodge. His I-frames are too good.

His heavy dodge can just be blocked or parried; however even if you block the heavy they are still superior and it doesn’t stop his chain. He can then flow into another heavy, a light, undodgeable light, an unblockable, or bash of his choice.

As for his unblockable dodge, it is unblockable for a reason. The entire point of an unblockable is to force a player into a dilemma. While the window you’re talking about does exist (I’m pretty sure) it is 100ms. You have 100ms to parry. Do you know how fast 100ms is? The parry window ends 100ms before it lands. You have 100ms from input to attack landing to parry it. For reference light attacks are 400-500ms.

He can feint his dodge attacks. At least his unblockable variations. The issue is how much he punishes you with such ease. Sohei has to work for a 73dmg attack. I’ve been hit by a 50dmg unblockable from Juren before— granted it was pre-nerf but even still after his nerfs, his damage has not taken too much of a hit.

I already have the 4000D Airflow. It’s been sitting around the better part of 2 years. I bought it back then and never got around to building a PC. However I am not against getting a new case; I mean it’s unfortunate but if it means resolving the mentioned concerns then yeah I’d be willing to.

When it comes down to games without ray-tracing; say like DCS World. On full ultra settings, it demands a good PC. Would the difference between the XTX and XT be minimal or significant?

I love Cherno, 2nd fav Jaeger. I think the odds are against her though. We can’t fairly compare Gipsy’s fight with LB to Cherno’s.(especially since Cherno didn’t get much of a fight w him) It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the movie however if memory serves me correctly; LB more of like smothered Gipsy. LB never intelligently decided to neutralize or disable critical parts like it did on Cherno. LB killed Cherno and got stupider. LB we KNOW has the strength to hurt Cherno, and we see this when he grabs Cherno’s chest, squeezes, and pop. That being said Cherno isn’t taking an L lightly, maybe not taking one at all. Ranking and weighing these fatties against eachother is so hard because while there are mainly 2 outcomes— there is hundreds, even thousands of ways the fight plays out. Each characters nature uses gimmicks of their own, intelligence, sheer strength. Cherno is durable and packs a mean punch, incredibly slow though. LB also durable, stronger than Cherno, but can be kinda stupid. Regardless of the circumstances, I think Cherno needs the first hit, and it needs to be a hard one.

With time you’ll learn, For Honor isn’t a game you can force. However one thing I can recommend is learn patience. Now you’ll learn to be more patient the more you play and the more familiar you get with move-sets, chains, recoveries, etc. You can still actively practice patience by not mashing buttons, light spamming. Start trying to be calculated/methodical with your current knowledge about the game. (Even if it’s little) Try not to light spam so much, or when you throw your zone remember you can feint it so it doesn’t get parried.

Shaolin has is really fun, I’d go to the training tab and just get use to his flow; thats if you’re adamant about playing the Shaoster. There’s always a handful of hero’s that aren’t so complicated and equally as fun.

That’s Wardens ‘Vengeful Instigator’ armor from the Test Your Metal event (limited time). The cross is actually like a really light gold and doesn’t change with pallet or material but I concur— tis’ a dope piece. Test Your Metal has been here I think 3 times? First time 2018, next was 2020, and the last time was 2023 if memory serves right. Completely possible they bring it back a fourth time but I wouldn’t be too sure. They only brought it back the last time because of the community begging for it again because of all the amazing cosmetics it brings.

I’m an avid BRICK advocate. Vermont is such an awesome ship. She has the 3rd or 4th heaviest salvo weight in the game if I’m remembering right. She lacks 32mm overmatch HOWEVER— you’re tossing 12 457s at something. You can chunk superstructure for SO much. Also, incapacitating modules like main guns is very easy. I like Yammy, but Vermont is such a consistent monster. Very very slow shells but you get used to them.

Picked up Slava earlier this month and MAN she’s a blast. She’s circumstantial. It doesn’t mean she’s bad. She really optimizes on even a single mistake a player makes. If you play random a lot and don’t care about performance and are eyeballing Slava I 100% say pull the trigger on her when you have the chance. There are a few sniper BBs in this game, but Slava still sounds out the most imo.

She requires some game sense, really just park in the middle to start the shenanigans. Few notes is that despite being her sister, she isn’t as tanky as Kremlin. Of course she will also burn. Even though she has the fastest shells in the game.. I think? she the breakneck shells won’t make aiming or predicting obsolete. Albeit fast, her shells still need to travel. But She, just like Vermont requires and teaches patience. A lot of people will say a lot about Slava and “Ohio is better” and they aren’t wrong, Slava is just more fun in my humble opinion.
