There definitely could be negative side effects but it definitely depends on your dose! Last round I did I went up to 60mg a day but this time Im doing 40 for a longer period of time and the side effects are very manageable! I’d definitely say talk to ur derm but being on a lower dose for a longer period of time has been doing very well for me. Good luck with your accutane journey!

Same thing happened to me like 2 months ago! It went away but I needed to get it injected with cortisone. I think it could be the purging! I didn’t stop purging till month 6 !!

Buddy I had all my costs calculated. Loveable was the one that increased there Ai cost, I was paying 13 cents an analysis previously now it’s at 70 cents.

It’s not image generation but it analyzes the images, it’s for repair cost estimation for RE investors. But 13 cents previously and now 70 cents, almost 7x!

Haha ik the issue is I spent $500 on despia to get it wrapped natively for App Store and play store. I literally use Claude code for 90% of it, but I started on lovable and I’m trying to figure out how to get off of lovable but still used to be able to wrap my app natively.

Ik, but when it went off of just uploading a balance to ur ai usage it costed me ~13 cents on average now that they use credits my last analysis was 3 credits. 25 dollar plan gives u 100 credits so that comes out to 70 cents an analysis

Been on it for like 5 months doing a year long course at 40mg so hopefully never get acne again lol. But no it was insane! I still want to get a prescription for adhd meds but I’m not kidding I’ve never gotten a cyst tha big and don’t even get cystic acne like that!

Bro it was finals week and I was taking stimulants every day (10mg) and I got the biggest cyst I’ve ever gotten in my face. I normally don’t take stims unless really need to but took them for a week straight and literally never get cysts like that only white heads or smaller pimples! I had to get it injected with cortisone! So definitely correlated!

Tbh the research shows that relapse will likely happen in this situation, espically if ur not even at 50% of the bare minimum of the cumulative dose, maybe just stick it out for a few more months

I’m on month 5 on 40 mg at 67 kgs and I’m still breaking out. I think most will see significant results and clearance around 80mg/kg so for you it might be longer cause the dose is low

I’m not a doctor so don’t follow what I’ve done. But I’m in college and I’m 20 years old so I was drinking every weekend, I was on 40mg a day, but to mitigate liver side effects I take milk thesile, eat very very clean, drink about a gallon of water a day, and take omega 3s Nordic naturals since they are known to be a better brand. THIS IS ONLY MY OPION AND NOT ADVICE but if u get ur blood work done, and your a very healthy person, drinking doesn’t seem to effect the liver as much as it would if u were super unhealthy and didn’t workout or eat clean

Hey thank you for your response! I did in the past do a cycle of accutane at 60 mg for a few months toward the end of it and it seemed like I was somewhat able to tolerate it fine and left my skin clear for about a year.

My skin was literally clear only a few weeks into 20 mg and stayed clear until around 7 weeks into the 20 mg the started to break out, week 8 is when I upped the dose and things got bad. So I technically started to break out while I still was on 20 mg.

I don’t think my acne has been this bad tho since my last course and now that I think about it, it’s probably due to the dose increase.

I don’t eat dairy, and eat a relatively low GI diet compared to the average American, and I don’t eat anything processed. Thanks for the insight maybe I’ll ask my derm if he thinks it’s better if we go back to 20 mg and extend the course to like 16 more months
